We visited Atlanta for the first time (for me and Layla, anyway) this weekend. It is a hilly, green sprawling city. A few of Sajan’s cousins live there, and one of them, Ansu celebrated her wedding on Saturday.
The wedding really showcased the couple’s love for each other. My favorite part was when the bridal party busted out in a surprise dance at the reception.
It was great getting to see a ton of family and spend quality time with Sajan’s brother Blesson and wife Jolly, who live in Chicago.
We also stopped by our friends Melvin and Sheba’s house, where we enjoyed good company and some delicious ribs and mac from Fat Matt’s.
On Sunday morning, we hung out in our hotel lobby catching up with cousins. Then we headed downtown to Centennial Park.
For lunch, we had some of the best barbecue I’ve ever tasted at Daddy D’z.
Then it was back to the airport. Layla was so excited to be flying on an airplane! Both of us were exhausted and went right to sleep.
